Some people naturally seek the spotlight, while others are happiest simply getting the job done. Irene has always been one of those people.

After 24 years at Carrington Place, Irene is hanging up her apron and beginning a well-deserved retirement. She has spent more than two decades working behind the scenes in our kitchen, helping prepare countless meals and contributing to the daily rhythm of our home. While many residents and families may not have seen all that she did each day, her work was an important part of making Carrington Place the place it is.

Irene never looked for recognition—in fact, she'd probably rather not have her picture taken for this! She simply came in, did her job, and helped keep things running. That kind of commitment over 24 years is something to be proud of.

Now it's time for Irene to enjoy the things she loves most: spending time with her grandchildren, getting her hands in the garden, and embracing the freedom that comes with retirement—no alarm clocks, no more early shifts.

Thank you, Irene, for your 24 years of service to Carrington Place. We wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter. May your days be filled with family, beautiful blooms, and the simple joys that retirement brings.

Summer lunches on the patio are back, and we couldn't be happier! ☀️🍽️

Our residents and their families enjoyed a delicious lunch of roasted chicken, rice pilaf, and fresh asparagus while soaking up the beautiful summer weather. And of course, no warm summer day is complete without a refreshing ice cream cone to finish the meal! 🍦

These special gatherings are all about creating memories, sharing laughter, and enjoying quality time together. We look forward to welcoming more families throughout the summer and making the most of every sunny day at Carrington Place. 💙
